Mother turtle

I was outside at lunch the other day and one of the guys came out of the woods behind our shop and told me about this turtle . I of course had to run and get my camera and go find her. I am so glad I did. I have a bunch of different angles but this one shows her best. She was at the top of this hill laying eggs how frikin cool. Her shell from head side to back was about a foot. I needless to say did not get to close. Not only do I like my fingers but I did not want to disturb her.
